Quiet street, thick stone walls, cool at night even in August. The kids loved the ladders into the sea.

What guests ask us

How do we pay, and is it safe?

30% by bank transfer to confirm, the rest on arrival. You get a written confirmation with our registration code, and you can read our reviews on Airbnb before you book.

Is there a beach?

Not a sandy one. This coast is lava: you swim from rocks and wooden platforms into deep, clear water. The nearest sand, La Playa in Catania, is 20 minutes by car.

Are linen and towels included?

Yes: bed linen, bath towels and beach towels, changed every week on stays longer than seven nights.

How does the tourist tax work?

€2 per person per night for guests aged 12 and over, for the first seven nights. It is already in your total, so nothing changes at the door.

Can we bring the dog?

Up to two pets, €30 each for the whole stay. The terrace is fenced and the castle promenade is ten minutes of good walking.

Do we need a car?

Useful, not essential. The bus to Catania stops 150 m from the gate, and Aci Trezza is a walk along the sea.
